Florence's Cathedral

We saw Florence spread out in a wide valley of astonishing richness and strewn with houses and villas. I made a fast tour of the city, visiting the Duomo ( Florence's Cathedral ) and Battistero. It is a new world, completely unknown, opening before me. But I don't want to stay.

That which most impresses in tuscany is the harmony of the large but still graceful public buildings, the streets and the bridges.
